Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026
This policy explains what Brindlepost Creative collects when you use our site, buy a product or join our email list, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what we need to sell you products and send you email you asked for. We don't sell your information.
1Who we are
Brindlepost Creative LLC ("BPC," "we," "us") is a company registered in Washington. We're responsible for the information described here.
2What we collect
When you join our email list or use the IP Inventory: your name and email address. The IP Inventory also sends three results with your signup: how many assets you listed, how many you rated Owned and the name of your strongest asset. It doesn't send the rest of your answers.
When you buy something: your name, email, billing address and order details. Your card is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
When you apply for advisory: what you put in the application form, such as your name, email, website and your answers about your business.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you browse our site: basic technical information our website platform collects automatically, such as your IP address, browser, device, the pages you visit and how you arrived.
3What stays on your device
Our paid tools, including the Positioning Diagnostic, Positioning System, Signature Methodology Builder and Messaging Architecture Builder, save your work in your own browser. Your answers aren't sent to us.
If you download your work, the file goes to your device, not to us. We can't see it, recover it or restore it if your browser data is cleared.
4How we use it
- To deliver what you bought and give you access to it.
- To send the emails you signed up for, including follow-up based on your IP Inventory results.
- To review advisory applications and reply to them.
- To answer your questions and fix access problems.
- To understand how people use our site, so we can improve it.
- To keep records the law requires, such as tax and sales records.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own advertising.
5Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run the business. They handle your information on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:
- Squarespace hosts our website, runs checkout and stores form submissions.
- Our payment processor, connected through Squarespace, handles card payments.
- MailerLite stores our email list and sends our emails.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our pages. Loading them sends your IP address to Google.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of selling or transferring the business.
6Cookies
Our website platform uses cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, remember your cart and measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, like checkout, may not work without them.
Our tools also use your browser's local storage to save your work on your device. That data stays with you.
7How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you're on our list. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep only what's needed to make sure you stay unsubscribed. We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep advisory applications for up to two years, then delete them.
8Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from our emails any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it's you first.
- Delete your tool data by clearing your browser's site data. We never had it.
Depending on where you live, including California, the EU and the UK, you may have additional rights under local law. We'll honor them. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9Security
We use established providers and limit who can access your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10Children
Our products are for adults running businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we'll tell our email list.
